I was born in the Midwest, did lots of growing up in Northern California, and currently live in Alaska — so I consider this to be roughly the third “chapter” of my life. This space is for me to think/write/create/comment and to consider what is Next in the journey of my life.

When I was visiting Washington, DC last May for a friend’s wedding, I mentioned over brunch that “I can’t imagine my life without eggs.” Not only do I absolutely love eating eggs, but I can also associate eggs with almost every single person in my life and the way they eat or interact with eggs. Strange. But a friend of a friend replied, “That would be an amazing title for a book.” So while it may be a deep-down secret ambition to publish a book one day, in the meantime I am learning to be a blogger.
